Wysocking Wildlife Sanctuary is a 7500+ acre safe haven for eagles, black bear, migratory waterfowl, and all of the fauna and flora that call Eastern North Carolina home. For 25 years, we’ve proactively expanded habitat and pursued new ideas about conservation and preservation.
The sanctuary is the inspired vision of Dr. Karl Busbee Pace Jr. (1923-2013). His passion for our coastal ecosystem lives on in Wysocking Wildlife Sanctuary. Today, we continue to preserve coastal North Carolina and conserve our valuable natural resources. It is our dream that, through education, action, and your support, Wysocking will continue to be a standard bearer for the future of wildlife preservation.
